EVENT INFORMATION
Event Times
Gates open for the Benalla Airshow at 9am and the event concludes at 4pm.
Alcohol
No alcoholic beverages can be brought onto the event site.

Animals
No animals are permitted on the event site (eg.) Dogs. (Service dogs are exempt.)
ATMs
Automatic Teller Machines will not be available onsite.
Bicycles
No bicycles will be permitted on the event site.
Cameras and Videos
Cameras and videos are encouraged.
Car Parking
THERE IS NO GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING ON SITE
The designated parking area will be at the Winton Motor Raceway Campground with Benalla Bus Lines providing transportation to/from the Airfield. The cost is $20 per car (PARKING TICKETS CAN BE PRE-PURCHASED HERE) for both parking and shuttle bus drop off and return from the Benalla Airfield. CLICK HERE for parking directions.
Limited accessible parking is available at the venue for those with valid Mobility Parking Permits.
Shuttle bus services provided
There will be shuttle buses running every 10 minutes between the off-site car park at the Winton Motor Raceway Campground from 8.15am – 5pm.
The Benalla Town Bus Service will operate from designated bus stop locations from 8.15am to 3.45pm. CLICK HERE for more info. PLease find ACCESSIBILITY information for the town bus services HERE.
*There is no general public parking on site at the Airfield.
Chairs
Visitors are permitted and encouraged to bring chairs with them.
Concessions
Ticket concessions are available for general admission to Pension Card holders ONLY. The Pension Card must be shown at the gate upon entry to the event.
Companion Card
Companions accompanying Companion Card holders are eligible for a free general admission ticket with a general admission ticket purchase. The free ticket can only be obtained at the window of the ticket office at the main entry gate to the Airshow. The purchased ticket and the Companion Card must be shown to receive the free ticket.
Accessibility
Visitors to the event should be aware that the event is not held on a purpose-built site and may pose some challenges for the very young, the elderly and those with mobility issues. Every effort has been made to make the site as accessible as possible, however, visitors should note there are uneven surfaces through many areas.
Disabled amenities are available.
Limited car parking for accredited state disabled permit pass holders ONLY.
Event-specific disabled car passes are not required.
Disabled patrons DO NOT receive a discount on general admission.
Companion Card holders receive their ticket free.
Entry
Visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets online. EFTPOS facilities will be available for entry.
First Aid
A first aid facility will be located at the event and its location will be marked on the site map and in the program available on the day.
Food Outlets
A variety of food stalls will be available throughout the event site.
Golf Buggies
There will be no golf buggies available at the Airshow for hire.
Lockers
Lockers will not be available at the event.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are permitted on site, however, due to network congestion, reception may not always be available.
Mobility Scooters
Mobility scooters are allowed. Disability identification cards must be shown at the gate upon entry to the event.
Pass Outs
Pass outs will be available at the Main entry gates. Persons leaving the event who do not obtain a pass out, will not be able to re-enter the event on the same ticket.
Pension Card Holders
Concession rates will be available to Pension Card holders when buying tickets online or at the main entrance gate. The Pension Card must be shown at the gate upon entry to the event.
Refunds
NO refunds will be available unless the event is cancelled.
Refund requests will be accepted for 1 month from the change of date announcement/ticketholder notification at the discretion of the event organisers.
In the event of the airshow being postponed due to abnormal weather events and those events which may affect aerodrome usability, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund if they are unable to attend the new date.
Scooters and Skateboards
Scooters and Skateboards are NOT permitted at the event.
Seniors Card Holders
A Seniors Card does not qualify as a concession for the event.
Concession tickets are ONLY available to Pension Card holders.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the bounds of the Airshow area. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cig or e-cigarettes), personal vaporisers, electronic nicotine delivery systems, or other battery powered vaporisers. Those wishing to smoke will need to obtain a Pass-Out which are available at the Main entry gates. Please be aware that persons leaving the event who do not obtain a Pass-Out will not be able to re-enter the event on the same ticket.

Benalla Airport is located 1km east of Benalla, Victoria, Australia. Benalla Airport is the home of the Gliding Club of Victoria, established and continuously operating since 1929.
